"My wife and I have been hooked on cribbage lately. I wanted to build a board that is compact for taking on vacations.
The wood is cherry and walnut. This was the first time I actually used the center as the origin and drilled a small hole to be able to zero the machine on both sides. The top side includes the peg holes, a shallow pocket for the veneer, and a 3D or your Oak Manel-57128.
I machined the 3D finish with a 1/16" tapered ball nose and am amazed at the detail on the oak leaves and even the tiny little acorns.
The bottom side includes magnet holes, pockets for the card deck and pegs, and pockets for the card symbols which I cut with a vbit. I plan to veneer these on the next build.
I finished the project with Tung Oil and lined the card and peg pockets with leather."
