Make your own rustic coat, hat, or ski pole hooks!

This week’s hack is inspired by our recent German “Around the World” project research and all things ‘Alpine’.

This ornate but practical piece makes the perfect addition to your reception room or hallway as somewhere to hang your coats, hats or even ski poles ready for you for when “The Mountain Calls”. As with all of our hacks, this is fully customizable and is finished quite simply for that rustic ski lodge feel. Just as useful in a kitchen, this simple hack could also be modified to hang cooking utensils, pots and pans or even an apron from.
